$3,000 Grant

Providing accessible, high-quality childcare resources so that children can be cared for, engaged, and empowered while their families work toward collective community progress.

Our Dream Garden

The Dream Garden initiative seeks to provide accessible, high-quality childcare resources (age appropriate, educationally rich, socially conscious and bilingual toys, activities, furnishings, mats, etc) that move with the community — from homebase to city meetings — so that children can be cared for, engaged, and empowered while their families work toward collective community progress. Through the Dream Garden, we are committed to fostering an environment where every child feels safe, loved, and encouraged to dream.

This project aims to provide a robust and reliable childcare resource for community organizing meetings, actions, and educational events within the GES neighborhood. Recognizing the importance of both childcare and community support, the Dream Garden will establish a permanent resource of educational and developmental materials, as well as a mobile childcare kit for off-site events. The kit will be designed to provide children with a familiar, safe, and inspiring space at every community gathering, ensuring that they are both protected and empowered as the future of our community.
